Happy Independence Day

Happy 4th of July!

The City of Emeryville wants you to have a safe and happy 4th of July! Unfortunately, the City does not have any city sanctioned events planned for this 4th of July. However, be aware there may be road closures in effect at the Emeryville Marina on Sunday.

Expect delays and road closures from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM along Powell Street and Frontage Road.

In the event traffic congestion builds up, traffic control measures will be put in place for West bound Powell Street at the access road to the Watergate Towers (1900 Powell Street). Watergate Condominium and Marina residents' vehicles will be allowed through; however, occupants must show proof of residency to pass through.

The road closures will be in effect until traffic congestion is relieved.

We also want to remind everyone that all fireworks are illegal to possess or display in Emeryville. The Consumption of alcoholic beverages in public is also prohibited.  For everyone's safety, please refrain from lighting all fireworks or consuming alcoholic beverages in public.
