[ARCHIVED] TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Ohlone Way at Bay Street Will Be Closed to One Lane on January 22-23

UPDATE JANUARY 17, 2020

Beginning Wednesday, January 22, 2020, a crane for the anticipated pile driving will be delivered and erected at Bay Street.  Ohlone Way will be narrowed down to one lane for approximately 2 days to allow for the delivery and installation of the crane, with a full-time Traffic Controller.  Please plan alternate routes in the meantime.  Pile driving is expected to begin Friday, January 24, 2020.

Horton Landing Park[CLICK TO EXPAND]

Starting January 6, 2020, Ghilotti Construction will begin physical work to construct the South Bayfront Pedestrian Bicycle Bridge project which includes construction of Horton Landing Park. Initial work will be located along Ohlone Way within the Bay Street Shops and Residences and will be about constructing reinforced concrete stairs and ramps to the Span over the Union Pacific Railroad tracks. Some related work will involve relocating storm drain and a short segment of a Sanitary Sewer Main between the South Bay Street Garage and the Union Pacific Property.
