The City of Emeryville will be celebrating the purchase and installation of several art pieces this December at three separate receptions. These artworks were acquired by the City through its "Purchase Award Program", developed in 2006 for the City of Emeryville's Art in Public Places Program, in conjunction with the annual Celebration of the Arts Exhibition. Established in 1990, the City of Emeryville's Art in Public Places Program supports art in the public realm and helps raise awareness of the arts in Emeryville.
