6pm - 7:30 pm
South Berkeley Senior Center (2939 Ellis Street, Berkeley)

RSVP TO ATTEND

Interested in learning more about solar panels? Curious about discounts on electric vehicles? Emeryville has partnered with the non-profit Business Council on Climate Change (BC3) to offer the SunShares solar and zero-emission vehicle discount program to residents. To learn more about the discounts being offered or ask questions about the basics of solar or zero-emission vehicles, a free workshop is being held on October 3rd at the South Berkeley Senior Center (2939 Ellis Street).

Bay Area SunShares promotes solar pricing that starts at 15% below the average market rate, and offers discounts for purchasing or leasing a zero emission vehicle. Sign up by November 10 at www.bayareasunshares.org , a program that pools the buying power of individual participants to get more competitive pricing from solar companies and vehicle manufacturers. Bay Area SunShares provides neutral information and technical assistance to all participants. Homeowners who install solar on their rooftops may also be able to take advantage of a 30% federal tax credit.

Please don’t forget to RSVP for the free workshop. Light refreshments will be provided.
