[ARCHIVED] Bike Share to Launch in Emeryville Next Tuesday, July 11

Ford GoBike

Experience Emeryville in a Whole New Way

New bike sharing stations are currently being installed throughout Emeryville!  Ford GoBike is the Bay Area's new bike sharing system, with thousands of public bikes for use throughout the Bay Area.  The program is designed with convenience in mind, and is a fund and affordable way to get around town.

There are 3 options to participate:

  1. Annual Membership for $149/year (It's on sale for just $124 until July 31!)
  2. Just for the Day for $9.99
  3. Single Ride (no membership) for $3 per trip

The first roll-out will take place next Tuesday, July 11, with three stations going up at City Hall (Park Avenue & Hollis Street), Adeline Street & 40th Street, and Horton Street and 40th Street.  Seven more stations are scheduled to be added later this summer.  MacArthur BART Station and many other locations around Oakland and Berkeley are also scheduled to go live on July 11.  The City will also be a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, July 11, around midday.
