[ARCHIVED] Emeryville Seeking Community Input on Local Hazard Mitigation and Climate Action Plans

LOCAL HAZARD MITIGATION AND CLIMATE ACTION PLANS UPDATE

The City of Emeryville has been in the process of updating the Local Hazard Mitigation Plan and is in the beginning process of updating the Climate Action Plan. Both plans look at identifying hazards that the community faces and assessing the City’s vulnerability to those hazards and identifying specific actions that can be taken to reduce these risks.

The City will be hosting 3 community workshops in the month of May to hear from the public about their thoughts and priorities on reducing the effects of climate change and natural and man-made hazards.

Schedule of Workshops

  1. Saturday, May 7, 2016. 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
  2. Tuesday, May 10, 2016. 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
  3. Tuesday, May 10, 2016. 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

All workshops will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 1333 Park Avenue, Emeryville, CA 94608 with light refreshments available. Please RSVP to CAP@emeryville.org.
