Quiet Zone Construction Update (August 2023)

• Night Work is coming to Quiet Zone Project Areas as approved by the Emeryville City Council on June 20th. 
• Paving operations are planned for the 65th/Shellmound intersection from 5pm-7pm on Friday, August 4th. 
• After 7pm, paving operations will continue north on Shellmound Street to 67th Street and the 67th/Hollis Street intersection.

 The City expects to be complete with the overall QZ Project in September/October 2023. Establishment of the “Quiet Zone” is expected to occur in early 2024.
