WHAT IS BEING PROPOSED?
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) invites you to review and comment on the draft Feasibility Study/Remedial Action Plan (FS/RAP) for the Former Marchant/Whitney Site located at 5679 Horton Street in Emeryville, CA 94608. Environmental investigations conducted throughout the Site have found cadmium in soil, total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) in soil and groundwater, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), primarily trichloroethene (TCE), in soil, groundwater and soil vapor (air in between soil particles). TCE contaminated groundwater also extends to the west of the Site.

During the public comment period, from November 22, 2022, to January 12, 2023, you can review the draft FS/RAP and IS/MND.
