Service Changes effective Sunday, August 7

Starting on August 7, 2022, AC Transit will be implementing changes for Local, Transbay and Supplementary Service.

Highlights of the changes include:

  • Several lines are restored to their pre-pandemic service levels: 12, 18, 29, 33, 57, 71, 72R, 76, 79 and 88.
  • In addition, lines 65, 703 and 707 are partially restored.
  • Lines and trips designed to serve schools resume for the fall.
  • Lines 57, 638, 657, 680, 805 and NX3 operate via Camden Street instead of MacArthur Boulevard between Seminary Avenue and 64th Avenue.

New schedules and line maps are available at actransit.org. All lines have printable timetables available online, and pocket timetables are available on board buses for local bus lines and Transbay bus lines F, NL, O, and 800.

For customized mobile alerts pertaining to a specified bus line, stop and/or trip, download the AC Transit Official App and enable the phone settings to “allow” app notifications.

Our full listing of bus line timetables is available online or may be requested at the AC Transit Customer Service Center at 1600 Franklin Street in downtown Oakland. For specific questions, call (510) 891-4777, or use the online form.
