5:30 PM
1451 Sherwin Avenue, Emeryville (corner of Horton and Sherwin)

About the Mural Project

Artist Nigel Sussman invites community feedback on his initial design (shown above) to ensure treasured spaces in the community are included in the final design. He is asking participants to answer the following questions at the workshop or via email to the City’s Public Art Coordinator Amber Evans at aevans@emeryville.org.

  • When you think of Emeryville, what places or things make you think of home?
  • If you were on a treasure hunt in Emeryville, what would you be happy to find?
  • If you were going to draw a picture of Emeryville, what visual elements would it include?
