Steps to Finding Affordable Rental Housing in Emeryville

Call the rental residential locations found in the Information Packet with designated Below-Market-Rate (BMR) units. Add your name to the wait list, if applicable. Follow up occasionally to check on vacancies.

Alameda County Housing Portal


The City of Emeryville is pleased to share a new resource for finding affordable housing opportunities across Alameda County called the Alameda County Housing Portal. The County’s in-progress website will ultimately serve as both a one-stop-shop for affordable rental housing and include a common short form application to make your experience of applying for housing easier. This document contains the results from the Below Market Rate Housing lottery for The Emery Building C & Building D, held by Quarterra on May 19, 2023 as reported by Quarterra.  Note that to determine an application's placing on the waitlist, the Application ID# is required.  Applicants will be contacted by the property agent in rank order - based on lottery position number and Emeryville Live/ Work/ School Preferences - until all 52 vacancies are filled. BMR Application & Lottery Results

Applications for BMR units in Building B-1 and B-2 were accepted May 19- June 10, 2022, with the lottery held on June 26, 2022.  All applicants entered into the Lottery will receive an email notification from LMC Property Management regarding their placement in the lottery and next steps. To see where you placed in the lottery, please search the attached list for the unique identifier number sent to you from LMC. Please note, that a low placement # in the lottery does not guarantee you a BMR unit. Information about applying for Building C and Building D will be available at the end of 2022.
