Anna Yates ‘Adventure Works’ - Grades K-2 Before & After School Program
Adventure Words is a City of Emeryville After School subsidized program offered in conjunction with the Emery Unified School District through Proposition 49. This extended day after school program provides a warm, nurturing, and fun environment for students in grades K-2. Our veteran staff of the program maintain a maximum supervision and program creatively throughout the year, providing structured activities and supervision including:
Sports, and more
This program emphasizes critical thinking exercises and security in their independence to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Children must register with the Emeryville Community Services Department to participate. Children are escorted by staff from Anna Yates Elementary School to ensure a safe passage between sites. In the Adventure Works Program, every day is truly a great adventure.
Note: The program is open to all Emeryville resident’s children, regardless of school affiliation, and parent’s children who live outside Emeryville but are enrolled in the District. The partnership has enabled the program to use Proposition 49 funding that lowers our fees and adds to the homework help, tutoring, educational standards, and enrichment activities.
